The non-profit association I Gigli del Campo operates in the Martesana area, northeast of Milan. It was founded in 2013 by gathering the need of several families to help their children with disabilities (mainly with autism and pervasive developmental disorders) in coping with and organizing their free time, in the hours not occupied by school and therapies. Free time is not useless time, but has value in that it is the time when a person can freely decide how to engage with the reality in front of him or her.
The site is built on WordPress platform using “Responsive” HTML5/CSS, which adapts to different screen resolutions of mobile devices. The site is installed on the Microsoft Azure platform.
