WEB FACTORY, a benefit corporation, has been at the forefront of the digital landscape for 25 years. Our expertise encompasses the provision and management of information systems, web application development, consulting on the adoption of collaborative software, and ensuring information security.
We primarily serve small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), third sector organizations, and public administrations, but our services extend to more unique entities as well.
At the heart of our operations is a strong commitment to professional ethics. This commitment is perhaps why the majority of the organizations we assist have placed their trust in us for years. Some have been with us since our inception, and many of their members have become our friends.
Our Story
We still remember when SharePoint made its appearance in 2001 and how for years we had wondered why the people at Microsoft had not yet invented what they later called OneDrive! This tool has been part of the way we handle information ever since.
We were there when Steve Jobs introduced the first iPhone, and shortly thereafter we began developing the first responsive websites for this new platform.
We have been involved in moving more and more things to the cloud, starting in 2011 when Microsoft launched BPOS, the ancestor of Office 365.
In 2018 we embraced the idea of working with far fewer emails, with Teams, on the path set by Slack.
In this way, over time, we have expanded our reach, even taking our expertise beyond national borders, with web applications, systems integration, collaborative software, and cybersecurity.
The digital world has evolved at an incredible speed to the point where it is as normative as the most historic areas of technology. For us, the GDPR represents a milestone in privacy protection, and in this area as well, we have developed the necessary skills to manage the standard.
