Jobs

WEB FACTORY SRL is a benefit company, founded 25 years ago. We are involved in the provision and management of information systems, consulting on collaborative software adoption, web application development, and information security.

We mainly target SMEs, third sector organizations and public administration, but we also serve realities that are a little more out of the ordinary.

At the heart of our operations is a strong commitment to professional ethics. Perhaps this is also why most of the organizations we assist have been trusting us for years, some since the beginning of the activity, and many of their people, are now friends to us.

Computer systems technician

This job is for you if:

  • You possess problem-solving superpowers! You are a skilled technological detective, able to detect and solve the most intricate problems as if they were a game.
  • You are empathetic and have the ability to listen to customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored IT solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • You are passionate about IT systems, and have experience in traditional infrastructure administration and cloud computing.
  • Appreciate communication in the work group, including suppliers and partners, for the power it has in finding solutions to complex situations.
  • You are reliable, you keep your commitments and take responsibility for them. In this you are transparent and direct: if you don’t feel like doing something or it doesn’t seem realistic, you point it out, without hesitation.
  • You are thorough in what you do and it comes naturally to you to run tests to make sure that a solution you adopt is sound.
  • The time/order factor is important to you: you are mindful of the deadlines you have scheduled or agreed upon with your counterpart.
  • You can’t stand to have a mistake repeated over and over again, and maybe you try to avoid it with some improving procedure or automation.
  • You are comfortable, indeed, you like to work with collaborative tools such as Discord, Slack, Teams, even if they sometimes get on your phone (during working hours, that is).
  • OK, great 2023 tools, but you have no hesitation to pick up the phone when needed.
  • You are methodical: You appreciate using company checklists when doing a complex task and perhaps improving them if you get a good idea.
  • Master English to do research and communicate with customers and suppliers. The same for the Italian 😊.

A typical workday looks like this:

  • Start at the café outside the office, outdoors if weather permits, to have a meeting about current activities.
  • You return to the office and do IT systems monitoring activities, in the manner and timing as contracted with the client.
  • You are contacted by a client and independently solve a simple problem or evaluate with colleagues the solution to a sensitive issue before proceeding. You will have more of these kinds of requests throughout the day.
  • You keep abreast of the technologies we use, and if appropriate you test new things by involving colleagues.
  • Document in clear and correct language the changes made to an environment or the activities performed for a request received.
  • Check internal schedules to manage tasks to be performed.
  • During the day you attend a few mini-meetings, usually motivated by a project to be carried out or a coffee at the machine.

  • If there is an opportunity propose solutions from our “portfolio” to clients.

  • Give your input on drafting an estimate.
  • Manage and innovate the enterprise information system.

Other days are not so sedentary: it is necessary to go to the client. It will happen once a week.

What do you need to fulfill this role:

for which we have training tools, but we are open to more if you have something good in your toolbox.

We cherish a personalized approach to our clients, so we place great importance on responding promptly to their inquiries via email and phone, as well as ensuring a friendly and efficient reception when meeting in person.

What we offer:
