ETICS – European Testing, Inspection and Certification System is the European Association of Certification Bodies in the Electrical Equipment Sector, holds the permanent secretariat for all major European certification projects for low voltage electrotechnical equipment.
ETICS provides its members with common administrative and secretarial services, promotes certification, and ensures the necessary feedback from certification to standardization. Ensures the openness and transparency of European certification systems operating, and maintain a code of ethics in their certification activities, taking into account the interests of producers, users and consumers.
The etics.org site declined into 6 sub-sites, one main one for ETICS and one for each “scheme”: ENEC, ENEC+, HAR, KEYMARK, CCA-EMC, CCA, accumulated by a homogeneous layout but distinct in graphics. The contents are organized into four functional areas:
- Informative public pages with general information about the association’s activities
- Database of licenses issued by members
- Document database with access management by groups
- European standards database
Information is accessed based on a four-level authentication scheme tailored for ETICS.
